Concealed conditions, pre-existing deficiencies, damaged or deteriorated wiring, code requirements, equipment conditions, customer-requested changes, or other circumstances discovered after an estimate is prepared may require changes to the proposed scope, schedule, or price.

 

Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable estimate, proposal, scope of work, pricing, payment terms, and project-specific terms before authorizing work.

Electrical work performed by Kohler Electric LLC may be governed by a separate estimate, proposal, invoice, written contract, change order, warranty, or other project-specific agreement.

These website Terms do not replace any written contract, disclosure, cancellation notice, or other document required by applicable Virginia law or regulation.

 

If project-specific terms conflict with these general website Terms, the applicable project agreement will control with respect to that project, except where otherwise required by law.

Changes to the Scope of Work

Conditions discovered after work begins may require additional troubleshooting, repairs, materials, code corrections, or modifications beyond the original scope of work.

Additional work outside the accepted scope will be discussed with the customer and, when required, documented and authorized before proceeding.

 

Nothing in these Terms is intended to modify any requirements under Virginia law concerning written change orders, contract modifications, or customer authorization.

Pricing & Payments

Website content, general pricing information, or verbal discussions do not constitute a binding price unless incorporated into an estimate, proposal, invoice, or other written agreement issued by Kohler Electric LLC.

Deposits, progress payments, final payments, and other payment requirements will be identified in the applicable project documentation.

Failure to make payment when due may result in delayed scheduling, suspension of work, collection activity, or other remedies permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

Cancellations

Appointment and project cancellation policies may be stated in the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, scheduling confirmation, or other project documentation.

 

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, restrict, or replace any cancellation or rescission right provided to a customer under applicable federal or Virginia law.

 

When a transaction is subject to a legally required cancellation period or cancellation notice, the applicable statutory requirements will control.

Financing

Kohler Electric LLC may make financing options available through independent third-party financing providers.

Financing applications, credit decisions, eligibility requirements, loan terms, interest rates, fees, and repayment obligations are

determined by the applicable financing provider.

 

Kohler Electric LLC does not guarantee financing approval, make lending decisions on behalf of third-party lenders, or establish a lender's credit requirements, interest rates, or financing terms.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable lender's disclosures, agreements, and terms before accepting financing.

Service Communications

By contacting Kohler Electric LLC or providing contact information in connection with a service request, you authorize us to use the contact information provided for communications reasonably related to your inquiry or services requested.

These communications may include:

Military Discount

Kohler Electric LLC offers a 10% military discount on eligible labor charges for qualifying residential services contracted directly by active-duty service members, veterans, reservists, and retired service members.

 

The military discount is intended for individual residential customers and does not apply to commercial or business-to-business (B2B) transactions, including work contracted on behalf of a business, commercial property, property management company, general contractor, or other commercial entity.

 

The discount applies to eligible labor charges only and does not apply to materials, equipment, permits, inspection fees, taxes, shipping, third-party services, subcontracted services, or other non-labor charges unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.

Reasonable verification of military status may be required.

 

The military discount may not be combined with other discounts, promotions, or special offers unless expressly authorized by Kohler Electric LLC.

 

Kohler Electric LLC reserves the right to establish eligibility requirements and modify or discontinue the program, subject to applicable law. Any military discount incorporated into an already accepted written agreement will remain governed by that agreement.

Workmanship & Manufacturer Warranties

Work performed by Kohler Electric LLC may be covered by a workmanship warranty as specified in the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, or project agreement.

 

Manufacturer warranties applicable to materials or equipment are provided by the applicable manufacturer and remain subject to the manufacturer's terms, limitations, exclusions, and procedures.

 

Nothing in these website Terms modifies, reduces, or eliminates a warranty already provided by Kohler Electric LLC in an accepted project agreement or otherwise required by applicable law.

 

The warranty terms applicable to a specific project will be identified in the applicable project documentation.

Permits & Inspections

Electrical work may require permits, inspections, utility coordination, or approval by the applicable authority having jurisdiction.

When permitting or inspection coordination is included within the accepted scope of work, Kohler Electric LLC will coordinate those requirements as stated in the applicable project agreement.

 

Permit processing, inspection scheduling, utility scheduling, governmental processing times, and decisions made by third parties are outside the direct control of Kohler Electric LLC and may affect project scheduling.

 

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit Kohler Electric LLC's obligations under applicable licensing, permitting, inspection, or contractor regulations.
